DO YOU WANT MORE LOVE IN
YOUR LIFE?

Can you recall a time when you felt
love from another person? What did it feel like? What were their
actions and what words were said? Now, think of a time when you gave love.
How did that make you feel? What were your actions and words?
St. Francis of Assisi once said,
“May it be, O Lord, that I seek not so much to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love; because it is
in the giving of oneself that one receives; it is in forgetting oneself
that one is found.” If you want more love, give more love without
conditions. Just love people for who they are, go beyond the personality
into the Divine Essence.
Everyone has a desire to be loved.
When we feel confident within ourselves about who we are and know the capacity
of love we have to share, life becomes more rewarding.
Today, make the effort to plant
seeds of love wherever you go. Smile at a stranger. Say good morning to
all of your co-workers. Tell someone how much you appreciate them, choose
not to take people for granted. Delight in someone else's success story.
Listen when someone is talking, so they will know they are being heard.
One small act of kindness can heal wounds, create love and make the world
a better place.
There are countless ways to express
love and when you do, you will also feel love. You are an expression
of who you are, so choose to give love and Just Be!
WHAT ARE YOUR INTENTIONS?

As you begin your day what are your
thoughts? Is there excitement or concern for what is unfolding? What
is your intention when you get up? Are you wanting to create an atmosphere
of being positive about life? Do you begin your day by being upset, angry,
feeling negative about the past or worried about the future?
Recognize where you are, what you
are feeling and then be open to change. We cannot change what
we are not aware of. Become aware of thoughts and feelings throughout
the day, this will give you an opportunity to make changes in your attitude
and behavior. Become aware of your intention behind what you do.
Are your actions from a heart space of love and gratitude? Or are your
actions from a negative space of frustration, hurt, pain or anger?
Do you know what your intent is
when you begin the day? Is your intent to share, to give, to serve, to
be honest and fair and to spread peace and love? If you are not aware
of your intentions, then take note of that. Notice if you run on habitual
patterns and behaviors. Where you are is not good or bad, it just is. Remember,
the one thing you have control over is your attitude! You can change how
you view life. If a negative thought comes, change it, if a negative feeling
arises, change it. Honor your thoughts and feelings, then choose
to do something different. You, and only you, have the power to change
yourself.
In the morning when you rise remember
everyone you meet is an opportunity to share with: your thoughts and feelings,
your gifts and talents, and for them to share with you. Create a
space of love and gratitude for them, as well as yourself. Make this
a day of intention and a day to Just Be!
