CELEBRATE!

Celebrate something today!
Isn’t it fun to be part of a celebration? Think of a time when you were
at a birthday party, a wedding reception, a family gathering. There was
laughter
and fun! People in a great mood,
sharing
who they are. Those are the moments that make wonderful memories.
Each day we have an opportunity to look at life and find something to celebrate.
If it happens to be a time when
you are going through something difficult, stop and ask that your angels
and guides be with you today to find something to celebrate. Find beauty,
joy and wonder in the moment.
It may be as simple as a dandelion
given to you by a child who thought it was a beautiful flower. Celebrate
the wonder of it. You might notice the clouds resemble an angel, allow
it to lift your heart. It might be that your boss compliments you
on a job well done, don’t let that pass you by without celebrating the
beauty of it.
Think of what happens to our mind,
body and spirit when we are celebrating, rejoicing, and experiencing the
wonder of life. Your mind cannot be at two places at one time, you can
choose to be in love (positive) or can choose to be in fear (negative).
When the negative pops its head out today, smile and choose to see something
positive in the situation. We don’t have to stuff our negative, honor that
it exists and move into the positive!
Celebrate life today with your positive
choices and Just Be.
ME, MEDITATION?

I believe meditation does
not have to be sitting still with an empty mind for thirty minutes, an
hour or more. You can be in meditation anytime or anyplace you choose.
I have heard people say, “I do not have time to meditate, quiet their
mind or take time to relax.” That is a choice, because everyone can
create time in their schedule to slow down and experience more from life.
It is a choice!
How about a walk in nature on your
day off? While walking become aware of your surroundings, pick up something,
such as a pine cone or rock and notice how it feels to the touch. Listen
to the sounds: the birds, running water or the wind. Smell the air
and any flowers that may cross your path. Enjoy the moment and Just
Be. If you cannot make time to walk in
nature then visualize yourself being there and be in touch with your five
senses while there along with any emotions or feelings that arise. Notice
when you become stressed during the day, that is the perfect time to take
a five minute visualization (meditation) break! See nature in your
mind's eye and feel the peace there.
Another thing you can choose to
do, be at one with a plant in your home or office. Look at it and think
of its roots and how that applies to you. Look at its leaves or blossoms
and see how that relates to you. Close your eyes and smell it and allow
the aroma, if any, to bring forth images. Ask the plant questions such
as: Are you happy? Are you getting enough sunshine? Am I giving you the
right amount of water? LISTEN and become still. Ask any other
questions you might want to. Do not judge what you are doing or hearing,
just allow. Become one with it and experience what it experiences.
Keep focused on what you are doing,
if you walk to work, become aware of your feet and each step you take,
rather than thinking about what might happen today. Or if you drive to
work, become aware of how tight or lose you hold the steering wheel.
Open your vision by being aware of not only the cars in front of you but
to the sides of you as well. Become aware of how your body feels. Become
aware of the colors in the sky. By paying attention to what is happening
around you, you are putting your focus on what is rather than worrying
about situations or regretting something.
Choose to make today a day
of meditation, a day of slowing down and a day to Just
Be!
